Can you believe you are in your last year of high school??! Photographing seniors is a true joy for me. I love watching each and every senior express themselves through their style, smile, and personalities. It is always my intention to make you feel comfortable and give you a fun experience. Whether you love or hate the camera I'm here to show you how good you can look with a little bit of guidance! Before you know it you'll be feeling like a model. Class of 2023/2024 I am ready to hype you up!
THE TWELVTH YEAR
I like to call my senior style an editorial approach to the classic traditional look. What does that mean exactly? It means that as opposed to the "tilt the head", "smile here at the camera", we do more things like "walk the runway" to this song, "flip your hair" while I embarrass myself trying to make you laugh. We have lots of fun exploring our location and talking about life because what makes you feel comfortable? Taking photos with a friend:) I take pride in the friendships I've built with my clients and am truly their biggest supporters! Senior year is not easy by any means and I love hearing relatable struggles I went through too.
For anyone who truly craves that vogue cover look, I love incorporating more funky posing and giving an editorial look as opposed to the cutesy poses. You'll receive a contract with all the details of your shoot. Start looking at locations you like!
It's shoot time! We'll go around your location, jam to some music, and shoot some gorgeous photos!
48 hours before your shoot you'll receive an senior checklist with some things you may want to bring.
It takes about 1-2 weeks to get your gallery. I'll post some sneak peaks on social media!!
FAQ
Can I bring my parents/friends?
Senior Shoots:
Of course! Bringing a friend/parents or both can always help make you feel more comfortable and you can even snap a few pictures with them too!
What happens when weather interferes?
Depending on weather changes, you can reschedule your session for another day. My schedule is super flexible but if you want a rainy day shoot they are beautiful and fun as well!
Will you suggest locations?
Of course! I have a few different locations that are some of my favorite spots for seniors, couples, and fashion shoots!
What should I keep in mind when choosing my outfit?
You know what makes you feel most confident and yourself. Always wear what you feel comfortable in. For fashion shoots, I love thrifting and would love to work with you on finding unique and funky outfits!
Am I allowed to have props/animals in my shoot?
Props are a yes! Bringing an object that has a special meaning to you can create unique, important memories. Accessories are also a fun addition! Animals are also a yes, as long as they can be tame and controlled when they are not ready for their close up :).
How long does it take to get the photos?
Depending on the amount of bookings I get, photos should take around 2-3 weeks to get back to you!
When is the best time of day to take photos?
I am a sucker for golden hour. Depending on the season that can range anywhere from 4:30-7:30 PM.
Can I order prints?
Yes! It is not required right now that you print through my store. However, it ensures you get the best quality products and there's lots to offer!
What am I allowed to do with my photos? (Copyright)
A contract will be sent to you soon after you book and will need to be signed and returned before the shoot can take place. This goes over expectations from both parties:) But the main gist, you are welcome to use your photos for any personal usage and post on social medias! Be sure to tag me as I love to repost and hype you up in the comments ;)
How do I pay?
Payments can now be made when you book your shoot online! There is a $25 deposit to reserve your date/time. You can then pay the rest on the shoot day through numerous methods including, Cash/Check, Venmo, and Zelle! If you are paying through Zelle/Venmo you must pay either the day of the shoot or 1-2 days after. Failure to pay accordingly will result in late fees. No pictures will be posted or given until payment is received.
How will my photos be delivered?
You will be sent an email 2-3 weeks after your shoot with a link to an online gallery where you can download, favorite, and print all of the images!
